The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED), Community Schools and Extended Learning (CSEL) Bureau, is pleased to announce the release of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Request for Proposals (RFP) for FY27-31. The 21st CCLC program, authorized under Title IV, Part B of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), supports high-quality out-of-school time programs that provide academic enrichment, youth development, and family engagement opportunities for students attending high-poverty and low-performing schools.
Eligible applicants include local education agencies, community-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and other public or private entities, including partnerships among these groups.
