Tori Gilpin serves as the LMS Specialist at the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED), where she oversees the development, design, and management of Canvas courses across multiple bureaus. With a strong background in instructional support, special education, and project coordination, she brings expertise in course structure, accessibility compliance, and sub-account management. Tori works closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create high-quality, user-friendly learning experiences. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education, as well as master’s degrees in Education,Teaching, Educational Administration, and Business Administration. Outside of work, Tori enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology & Performance Improvement, Sara holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She brings 12 years of multi-disciplinary experience crafting accessible learning experiences across public education and corporate talent management. Her background includes roles as a classroom teacher, district Canvas LMS Administrator, and corporate Talent Management Specialist. As a full-time Instructional Designer at Instructure, Sara partners with the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) to deliver equitable, scalable learning solutions. Grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and WCAG compliance, she guides stakeholders through digital transformation, specializing in AI adoption, automation integration, and custom tool design to optimize modern instructional ecosystems.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Teacher Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology. Jennifer started her career by traveling the US conducting seminars. She then transitioned to teaching, first at a K-12 vocational center and later at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC), where she taught Business and Office Technology and Computer Networking. She then moved into a leadership role within MGCCC’s eLearning department, serving as both coordinator and director. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership positions on boards and committees, served as a Canvas administrator for MGCCC, and worked as a trainer and course developer. In 2020, Jennifer continued to pursue her passion for teaching and learning by joining Instructure and supporting NMPED as an instructional designer.

With degrees in K–12 Education and Instructional Technology from the University of South Carolina, Anne brings over 20 years of classroom experience, earning recognition as Teacher of the Year and serving as both a curriculum and technology coach. As a Learning Consultant at Instructure, she partners with the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) to support Canvas implementation across the state.

Anne works directly with districts to improve instructional consistency, promote equity through Universal Design for Learning, and ensure accessibility and differentiation. She helps align Canvas with state initiatives, streamline planning, and manage change—making Canvas a powerful tool for easy access to HQIM and achievement in New Mexico.

With a background in program management and education, Tim joined Instructure five years ago to help make educational technology a foundation for all types of learners. He enjoys finding innovative solutions to challenges in order to improve the educational process. In his current role, he works with the PED on all things Elevate NM and Excel NM as well as providing technical and AI guidance.
