Mission Statement

The Public Education Department’s Family Cabinet is dedicated to empowering families and fostering meaningful partnerships to enhance student success across New Mexico. Through engagement and advocacy, the Family Cabinet will collaborate with families to ensure their voices are integral to shaping educational policies, programs, and practices that prioritize the well-being and achievement of every student. We are a student-centered advisory body striving to create an inclusive and equitable educational system for all students, families, and communities.
