PED’s Unified Application (UA)

All school districts and state-authorized charter schools will participate in the 2026-2027 UA.

The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) has launched the UA to improve the LEA planning and application process for federal funds. The UA is one streamlined application for all included federal grants. It consolidates common requirements across federal programs and automates data entry and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal requirements.

By reducing administrative burden with a single application, LEAs will have more time to dedicate to planning and implementation.
